Cleaning Products Can Pollute the Air You Breathe

Cleaning your home should not mean filling your lungs with chemicals.

Many household cleaning products can release volatile organic compounds, fumes, disinfectant chemicals, and irritants into the air. Sprays, bleach products, ammonia-based cleaners, heavy fragrances, and disinfecting wipes can be especially irritating when used often or in poorly ventilated spaces.

A clean home should support your health, not attack your respiratory system.

Simple steps you can take today:

Never mix bleach with ammonia or other cleaners.
Ventilate the room when cleaning.
Use fragrance-free or low-toxicity products when possible.
Avoid overusing disinfectants when basic cleaning is enough.

At INMUHEALTH, prevention starts with education and routine checkups, including wellness monitoring, lifestyle risk reviews, lab work when needed, and referrals for specialized care.

Your path to a healthier tomorrow begins today.
