Your AC System Can Affect Your Respiratory Health

In Miami, your AC is not just for comfort. It is part of your indoor health environment.

A dirty or poorly maintained AC system can circulate dust, mold spores, odors, humidity, and other irritants through the home. Clogged filters and dirty vents can make indoor air feel stale and may worsen respiratory irritation, allergies, and asthma symptoms in sensitive people.

If the air coming from your vents smells musty, pay attention.

Simple steps you can take today:

Replace AC filters regularly.
Keep vents and returns clean.
Check for moisture near the AC unit.
Call a professional if you smell mold or see water damage.

At INMUHEALTH, prevention starts with education and routine checkups, including wellness monitoring, lifestyle risk reviews, lab work when needed, and referrals for specialized care.

Your path to a healthier tomorrow begins today.
