Sleeping Next to Your Phone Is a Bad Habit

Your phone does not belong under your pillow, beside your face, or inches from your head all night.

Sleeping next to your phone can keep you mentally alert, expose you to late-night notifications, tempt you to scroll, and disrupt your sleep routine. For many people, the real danger is not one single signal or sound. It is the habit of never disconnecting.

Your bedroom should be a recovery space, not a second office.

Simple steps you can take today:

Charge your phone away from your bed.
Use an alarm clock instead of your phone.
Turn on Do Not Disturb before sleep.
Keep the bedroom for rest, not scrolling.

At INMUHEALTH, prevention begins with education and routine check-ups, which include wellness monitoring, lifestyle risk assessment, laboratory testing when necessary, and referrals to specialized care.
